Native Sun News Today moves
“We had an opportunity to move into a new minimall on a very busy boulevard at a much lower cost and so we took the opportunity,” said Christy Tibbitts, publisher.
Editor Ernestine Chasing Hawk was excited about move. She said, “Many of our customers are Native American and this is a much more convenient location for them to access.”
The move was completed on Friday.
Tibbitts said, “We had to plan the move carefully because we didn’t want to be caught in the middle of it and not be able to get our newspaper published and to our readers this week. Everything fell into place and it was business as usual.”
Thomas & Sons Trucking Company supplied the moving trucks and everyone at the newspaper was very impressed by their professionalism and friendly approach to a heavy duty job. Technology Center installed all of the hookups for the computers and then showed up to get everyone online. Midco Communications will be the new online service provider.
And so Volume 9, Issue 4 will be published at our new location starting this week.
Native Sun News Today expresses its gratitude to all of the employees for pitching in and helping anyway they could during this stressful time.
