Ramiro Joseph Edwards

WANBLEE –– Ramiro Joseph Edwards, 19 weeks (gestational age), made his journey to the Spirit World on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

Ramiro Joseph Edwards was born at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City to Graceyn M. Edwards and Ramiro Joseph Moran, II and he passed away at 5:09 PM, Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

Ramiro is survived by his parents, Graceyn Marie Edwards and Ramiro Joseph Moran II both of Wanblee; grandparents, Delane and Jewel Edwards of Wanblee, and Ramiro Moran, Sr. of Dallas; aunts and uncles, Levi Quiver of Sioux Falls, Mario Quiver, Kalonnie Edwards, and Sun Rose Quiver all of Wanblee, Marvin Moran of Rapid City, Tina Rodriguez, Nicole Rodriguez, and Kathleen Rodriguez all of Dallas, special grandmother, Mary Moran of Wanblee, Howard Red Bear of Scottsbluff, Neb., Antoinette and Agnes Waters both of Allen; great grandparents, Charity Edwards of Kadoka, Anthony and Elizabeth Waters of Martin, Jennifer and Eugene Iron Shell of Rosebud, Ben, Sam & Steven Quiver, Cindy Quiver all of Wanblee; and Eunice and Lonnie Robinson of Pierre.

Ramiro Edwards was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carla Moran; and great grandparents, Sam Quiver, Sr., Ernestine Quiver, Carl Moran, Sr. and Carrie (Farmer) Moran.

A one night wake service started on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at the Edwards Residence in Wanblee. Funeral services were held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at the Wanblee CAP Office with Rev. Harold Eagle Bull and Lay Reader Rita Brown officiating. Burial service was held at the Quiver Family Cemetery near Wanblee.
