Tamarra ‘Anpo Wagligli Win’ Forine DuBray

ALLEN – Tamarra “Anpo Wagligli Win” Forine DuBray, 22 made her journey to the Spirit World on Monday, October 2, 2017.

Tamarra Florine DuBray was born on September 11, 1995 to Camelita DuBray and Newton Cummings III in Pine Ridge. Tamarra attended and completed her elementary education at the American Horse School and completed her general education requirements at Oglala Lakota College in June 2017. Tamarra attended Black Hills Beauty College and was attending Oglala Lakota College at the time of her death.

Tamarra is survived by her daughter, Genesis DuBray of Allen; mother, Carmelita DuBray of Allen; father, Newton (Becky) Cummings III of Martin; brother, Chance DuBray of Elko, Nev.; companion, Jason Richards of Allen; Hunka Parents, Lucas Lone Tree of Wisconsin, Marriah Not Afraid of Manderson, & Waylon and Helene Gaddie of Lost Dog; God Mothers, Thelma Hayter of Raleigh, N.C. and Patti Coleman of Ashville, N.C.; aunts, Isabelle (Garland) Gaddie and Felice DuBray both of Allen, SD; Sally (Aaron) DeSersa and Monica Whirlwind Horse, both of Manderson, Madonna Cummings of Martin, Mary Frantz of Peola, Wash., Lynn Hernandez of Kyle, Sally Nelson of Rapid City, Janelle and Eva Nelson both of Denver, and Hazel (Marcel) Iron Cloud of Kyle; uncles: Gary DuBray, Tom DuBray, Steve (Lolita) DuBray, and Luke DuBray all of Allen, Charlie Cummings, Casey Cummings, and Billy Cummings all of Martin; and Peter Cummings of Aberdeen.

Tamarra was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Florine DuBray, Mr and Mrs Newton Cummings Jr., baby DuBray, cousins, Tyler DuBray and Gary Donel Gaddie.

A two night wake service started on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the American Horse Gym in Allen. Funeral Services were held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at the American Horse School Gym in Allen. Traditional Lakota services were held by her uncles, brothers, and nephews. Burial service was at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Cemetery in Allen.
