SIOUX FALLS – Anthony Nathen Guy Iron Moccasin, 22, made his journey to the Spirit World on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in Sioux Falls.

Anthony Nathen Guy Iron Moccasin (Skinny) was born on May 9, 1996 to Aubrey Iron Moccasin and Arlene Agueaux in Eagle Butte. He grew up in Eagle Butte and Bear Creek.

Anthony attended C-EB High School where he excelled as a class-country track runner, he was on the 2010 Boys State Class country team where they brought home the State A Championship, out of 135 runners, he took 26th place putting the Braves on top. He received medals in all his races and meets, his determination and will always placed him. He also attended the Gear Up program during the summer at the S.D. School of Mines in Rapid City. He then transferred to Washington High School in Sioux Falls, where he resided until the time of his passing.

Anthony was a loving son, brother, and friend, he always had a smile and made everyone laugh. He enjoyed walking, skateboarding, drawing, playing his guitar, hanging out with friends and video games.

Anthony is survived by his parents: Aubrey & Dolly Iron Moccasin and Arlene Agneaux, brothers Ashton of Sioux Falls, Aryan of Dickinson, N.D., sisters Ashley of Dickinson, N.D., Aubree (Breezee Joshua), (Josiah Vironche) of Rapid City, Rhondee Ganje of Eagle Butte, Heaven and Angel Stinger of Sioux Falls. Hunka mom Jody Weddell, Paternal grandparents Thomas & Edie Iron Moccasin, Maternal grandmother Nadine Bagola.

Anthony will be greatly missed and loved by many.

Funeral services for Anthony were held on Friday, November 26, 2018 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Eagle Butte., with Mother Margaret Watson officiating. Burial was at the Morgan Family Cemetery.
