Ardyth Lillian Iron Cloud




PORCUPINE—Ardyth Lillian Iron Cloud, 60, made her journey to the Spirit World on Jan. 11, 2016, at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge. 

Ardyth Lillian Iron Could was born on April 9, 1955 in Pine Ridge, to Edward Iron Cloud Jr. and Mary Locke.

Ardyth is survived by her spouse, Theodore Hamilton of Porcupine,; sons, Phil Baird of Bismarck, N.D., Dustin Baird of Denver, Colo. (Raider Nation), Santee Baird of Porcupine, Brian Baird of Rapid City, Grey Hamilton of Norfolk, Va., Elliot Hamilton of Rapid City, Wanbli Gleska Hamilton of Rapid City, and Jacob Wolf of Sisseton,; daughters, Mary Baird of Pine Ridge, Sonja Baird of Brookefield, Ill., Hail Baird of Rapid City,; brothers, Gerald Iron Cloud of Eagle Butte, effrey Iron Cloud of Rapid City, Edward Iron Cloud III of Porcupine, and Orlin Iron Cloud of Eagle Butte,; sisters, Emily Koenen, Eileen Iron Cloud, Alberta Miller, and Ethleen Two Dogs, all of Porcupine,; and 12 grandchildren. 

Ardyth was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Iron Cloud Jr. and Mary Locke; Nephew, Peter Miles Iron Cloud; and cousins, Manuel, Patty and David Iron Cloud, and Everett, Bill, Hank and Harold Tuttle. 

The family of Ardis asks that, instead of flowers and cakes, any donations to the family go to the book program at the Little Wound School, In Memory of Ardis Iron Cloud. 

One night wake services were held Jan.15, at the Porcupine Day School Gym in Porcupine. Funeral Services were held Jan.16, 2016 at the Porcupine Day School Gym in Porcupine. Burial Services to be held at a later date. Traditional Lakota Services:  Mr. Richard Iron Cloud
