CANISTOTA –– Congressional candidate Tim Bjorkman will conduct a series of Town Hall Listening Events across South Dakota over the coming weeks. Bjorkman will make brief opening remarks, then listen to South Dakotans share their views on healthcare and related topics of importance to them.
A meeting will be held in Rapid City and will focus on the issue of healthcare, but is open to other issues on South Dakotans’ minds, as well.
The Town Hall Listening Session will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at Rapid City Public Library, 610 Quincy St.:
Bjorkman said, “There has been a lot of political talk but, sadly, no action on the monumental issue of healthcare. It’s yet another example of Washington politicians not listening to us and not working together.
“I will be holding these Town Hall listening sessions so South Dakotans of all political views can share with me what they want Congress to do on healthcare. I will be listening so that I understand their concerns, not pontificating. Watch for a town hall in your community.”
Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend and make their views known at these Town Halls so our candidates and elected officials hear them.
