February 28 Rapid City Chamber Hosts Governor Noem 2019 Priorities Tour RAPID CITY – We are pleased to welcome Governor Kristi Noem to Rapid City as she travels to South Dakota communities talking about the priorities for her first year in office. Join us for this informative luncheon and hear about the issues important to our new Governor. $25 for Chamber Members, $35 for Non- Members. Please register online by Monday, February 25. Facebook RSVPs do not count. Located at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.

February 28 We Believe in Kids Benefit Dinner RAPID CITY – “We Believe in Kids” is WellFully’s signature fundraising event, sharing with the community a meaningful evening where attendees will be treated to a plated dinner, raffle drawings. The program celebrates WellFully’s accomplishments over the past year, especially those of the youth we serve. This year’s theme is “Under One Roof” celebrating youth from all

backgrounds and needs finding the help they need all under one roof in our new Premier Adolescent Care Center. Located at the Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn.

March 1 Custer State Park’s Birthday Celebration CUSTER STATE PARK – Join Custer State Park for cake and ice cream as they celebrate the day that the park was officially dedicated as a state park back in 1919. There will be cake and ice cream in the Visitor Center for guests along with guided hikes, programming, ice fishing, snowshoeing (if there is snow) and more.

March 2 Custer Trade Show CUSTER – Take part in the Custer Trade Show on Saturday, March 2, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m., at Custer High School. There will be a variety of exhibitors with wares financial services and building materials to jewelry and artwork. Concessions will be available. Admission is a freewill monetary donation to a local non-profit organization. 1645 Wildcat Lane, Custer, SD 57730.

March 9 Rural America Initiatives RAPID CITY – Join us Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1 P.M. for the Ateyapi, “Honoring The Youth” Wacipi/Powwow!!!

March 15 – 16 St. Patrick’s Day Weekend DEADWOOD – Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the Old West with Leprechaun Olympics, parades, music, drinks, food and fun. The green-tinted weekend of fun starts at 5 p.m. Friday and runs through Saturday. On Saturday, March 16, join more than 1,200 others at Deadwood’s annual Pub Crawl, the largest in the region.

March 15 – 17 Tri-State Horse Expo SIOUX FALLS – This annual event brings together horse enthusiasts from South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa for a weekend of events, demonstrations, vendors and more. You can see team roping, barrel racing, cutting, trick riding, ranching sorting, driving, and SDRA rodeos all at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls.
