Cleo Faye Garneaux



 

 

HOT SPRINGS — Cleo Faye Garneaux, 75, made her journey to the Spirit World on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 surrounded by her loving family in Box Elder.

Cleo Faye Garneaux was born on January 30, 1942 at home in Oglala to Henry and Edith (Rouillard) Richards.

Cleo is survived by her children, Donna Richards of Hot Springs, Tillie Hawk of Rapid City, Joy (Josef) Marks and Daniel Garneaux both of Chesapeake, Va.; Byron Bordeaux of Porcupine, Beverly Bordeaux and Brenda Bordeaux both of Kearney, Neb., Abraham Bordeaux of Scottsbluff, Neb., Cynthia Bordeaux of Scottsbluff, Neb., James Shot With Two Arrows of Rosebud, and Timothy Shot With Two Arrows of Colorado; siblings, Clarence Richards of Hot Springs, Myrtie Black Bear of Rapid City, and Beau and Elizabeth Garneaux; 20 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren.

Cleo was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Edith Richards; spouse, Edward Garneaux; children, Beverly Hawk, Lee Garneaux, and Edward Garneaux; and sibling, Leah Rae Richards

A one night wake service started on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, with Catholic Mass on Sunday evening. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, with Father Joe Daoust, S.J. and Sister Barb Bogenschutz officiating. Burial was at the Cremation to follow services.
