Cleone Dorothy Ice was born on February 24, 1933 in Pine Ridge to Mabel Runs Against-Ice and Alec Ice.
Cleone is survived by her daughters, Vicki Left Hand of Wounded Knee and Dorothy Sun Bear of Wounded Knee; son, Dave Rowland, Sr. of Mitchell; grandchildren, Jennifer Rowland and Rochelle Cheyenne both of Wounded Knee; 35 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchilren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Cleone was preceded in death by her parents, Mabel Runs Against-Ice and Alec Ice; daughter, Anita Ruby Rowland; sons, Garry Rowland and Patrick Rowland; sisters, Francis Ice, Verlean Ice, and Cecelia Parker; brother, Bernard Ice, Sr.; and grandchildren, Genola Rowland, Greg Rowland, Sr., Ashley & Emily Rowland, and Rapheal Crooked Eyes.
Pallbearers were Kane Fresquez, Jacob Left Hand, Patrick Rowland, Jr., Wakinyan Peta Rowland, Greg Rowland, Jr., Justin Rowland, Virgil Left Hand, Jr., and Willis Rowland.

Viewing services were held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge. Graveside services were at the Wounded Knee Memorial Cemetery in Wounded Knee, with William “Bill” Quijas officiating.
