Demitri Harold Means



 

 

Demitri made his journey to the Spirit World on Dec.18, 2015 at his residence in Interior. Demitri Harold Means was born on June 15, 1968 in Pine Ridge, to Robert Means and Flora Bullman.

Demitri is survived by his mother, Flora Bullman of Lost Dog Creek, sons, Klay and Kole of Kadoka, Hunka daughter; Lilly Rollins of Texas, special nephews; Norman and James Livermont, Dylan and Cody Huether, all of Interior, special niece; Mataya Livermont of Interior, brothers; Waylon Means, Hoksila Reddest, Cornell Reddest, Ivan Reddest, Tilden Reddest, Rudy Reddest, Joe Reddest, and Tino Bull Bear, all of Lost Dog Creek, and Gordy Brille of Mission, sisters; Annie Means of Lost Dog Creek, Roberta Means of Potato Creek, Kori Grass of Rapid City, Lavonne Randall, Michelle Reddest, Devona Bull Bear, Gwen Reddest, and Duanna Reddest, all of Lost Dog Creek, and grandmother; Josephine Means of Potato Creek. 

Demitri was preceded in death by his father, Robert Means; aunt, Gwyneth Bullman; grandparents, Moses & Annie Bullman; grandfather, Everett Broken Rope; and brother, Ernest Means.

A one night wake was held Dec. 23, at the Interior Fire Department Hall in Interior, then moving to St. Henry’s Catholic Church Hall in Potato Creek. Funeral Services were held Dec. 24, at the Potato Creek Catholic Church Hall in Potato Creek. Officiating : Senior Catechist Anthony Wounded Head, Sr.
Burial Services: Bullman/Means Cemetery, Interior
