Earl Wade Janis was born on December 4, 1968 in Pine Ridge, SD to Earl Thomas Long Wolf and Bernice Hawk Wing
Earl is survived by his son, Shane of Denver, CO; sisters, Donna Janis, Violet Waters, Lea Ann Janis, Earlene Janis, Michelle Long Soldier, Iris Bush, Stephanie Bush, Cheryl Bush, Terri Bush, Renee Janis, and Jennifer Harjo; brothers, Roger Janis and Timothy Long Wolf; aunt, Phyliss Swift Hawk; uncle, Ted Ten Fingers; and numerous nieces, nephews, & grandchildren.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Thomas Long Wolf and Bernice Hawk Wing; aunts, Dorothy Waters, Donna Long Wolf, Charlene Long Wolf, Colleen Long Wolf, and Virginia Ten Fingers; uncle, Ron Fisherman; sister, Rose Janis; and nephew, Scott VanPelt.
Pallbearers will be Larry New Holy, Michael Waters, Marino Waters, Tristan Winters, Austin Winters, Russell Whalen, Nathan Whalen, and Jesse Whalen.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 14, 2022 at the T&T Center in Wanblee, SD
Funeral Services: 10:00 AM, Monday, August 15, 2022 at the T&T Center in Wanblee, SD
Burial Services: Hawk Wing Family Cemetery, Long Valley, SD
