RAPID CITY – George Ralph Ghost Dog, Jr., 61, made his journey to the Spirit World on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at his home in Rapid City.
George Ralph Ghost Dog, Jr. was born on January 30, 1957 in Gordon, Neb. to George R. Ghost Dog, Sr. and Virginia (Brown Eyes) Ghost Dog.
George is survived by his children, Jerome Ghost Dog of Texas, Joshua and Jeremiah Vigil, both of Rapid City and Christopher Ghost Dog of Wapato, Wash..; siblings, Thomas Ghost Dog of Rapid City, William “Billy” Ghost Dog of Hot Springs, Roberta, David and Emmett Little Whiteman, and Erik Grinnell, Sr. all of Rapid City and Audrey Ghost Dog of Poplar, Mont.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George Ghost Dog, Sr. and Virginia (Brown Eyes) Ghost Dog; brother, John Ghost Dog; and sister, Elena Grinnell.
A one night wake service started on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Fr. Pauly Hall in Porcupine. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Fr. Pauly Hall in Porcupine. Burial was at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery in Porcupine.
