We have all been complying that the temperature has hit triple digitals several times this summer, so over the last week we have been in the low 80’s to 70’s guess summer is finally over, a few of us hear at the office were ready to turn on the heat. Sales Manager Holly did just that in her car on the way to work one brisk morning then for the rest of the week couldn’t figure out why it was so hot in the car in the afternoon. Hum heat still on.
Speaking of cars, we have been having a bit of trouble with our news van as of late, Ryan likes that this way he can cruz around in his own ride. So if anyone out there wants to buy a slightly used Native Sun News Today minivan let us know.
The month of September brought us the birth of two beautiful ladies, (we won’t say how old they both turned, let’s just say the cake depicted the “Over the Hill” theme.) Jackie and Elana, we are all thankful of that. We get cake!! Just kidding wishing both of them a very happy birthday and we did have cake.
James and Ryan are working hard to get our weekly newspaper up to Tim’s standers and out to our loyal readers, they will never be a Tim, those are big shoes to fill but they are doing an outstanding job. We welcome back Jimmy who has stepped into the role of editor, he will do a bang up job. Speaking of welcoming back Yolanda our long time circulation manager took a much needed break for a few weeks, but we are happy to say she is back in the saddle again and ready to rock-n-roll we are glad to have both of them back.
Kirk is hitting the streets hard this week, since we received the word that the 2021 Black Hills Pow Wow and Native American Day parade has been canceled again this year. We are putting together a special for Native American Day, keep an eye out for details.
We welcome Yolanda Thompson back to the team. She thought she would try something different but she really missed her friends and her job at Native Sun News Today.
