RAPID CITY – Jane Marie Red Owl, 66 made her journey to the Spirit World on September 17, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD. Jane was born on December 29, 1955 in Gordon, NE to Curtis Red Owl, Sr. and Rachel Mousseaux.
Jane is survived by her children, Rachel Bissonette, Sophie DuBray, Jessica, and Angel Helper; brothers, Tim Red Owl, Wilson “Buzi” Two Lance, and Vincent “Woodzy” Two Lance; sisters, Karen Red Owl-Sitting Holy, Sandy, Connie (Don) LeBeau, Cleo (Rick) Palmier, Stacy (Chris) Brooks, Marquise and Marquita Two Lance, Bette Red Cloud-Iron Moccasin, Marvelle Thunder Hawk, Toni Red Cloud, Bobbi Red Cloud-Phelps; aunts, Fermina (Wilson) Quintana, Cheryl One Feather, Janice One Feather, and Ingrid One Feather; and uncles, Robert (Phinet) Red Owl, Delmar (Linda) One Feather, and Wilson Quintana, Sr.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Red Owl, Sr. and Rachel Mousseaux; sons, Daniel Bissonette and Cleveland DuBray III; brothers, Curtis Red Owl, Jr., Abraham Clinchers, Jr., and Phillip Red Owl; sisters, Alberta Verla Red Owl, Josephine Two Lance, Betsy Two Lance, and Sherry Lyons; aunts, Elizabeth Red Owl, Gertrude Red Owl, and Vestana Two Lance; uncles, Harry Red Owl, Darrell Red Owl, Gerald One Feather, Morris One Feather, and Kelmar One Feather; hunka parents, Melvin & Marie Red Cloud; and grandchildren, Flint Tall, Jr., Louis Sandoval, Jr., Dallas Brave, Cadance Hart, and Jaida and Javen Brave.
Pallbearers will be Richard Tall, Jesse Grass, Jonathan Red Owl, Daniel Brave, Lionell Iron Moccasin, Jr., Shane Quintana, Wilson “Buzi” Two Lance, Erik Slow Bear, Robert Dean Red Owl, and Donald LeBeau, Sr.

Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 4:00 PM, Friday, September 30, 2022 at the C. Bear Gymnasium in Batesland, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
Funeral Services: 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the C. Bear Gymnasium in Batesland, SD

Burial Services: Mediator Episcopal Cemetery, Kyle, SD
