SLIM BUTTES –– Jennae Nevaeh Swift Eagle-Little “Tunkan Waste’Win”, 10, made her journey to the Milky Way on Saturday, July 8, 2017 accompanied by her grandmother, Wanda Siers and siblings, Jeremy Little Jr., Mato Siers, and Winyan DeCory in Red Shirt Table.

Jennae Nevaeh Swift Eagle-Little was born on June 15, 2007 in Rapid City to Jeremy Little, Sr. and Genevieve Swift Eagle.

Jennae is survived by mother, Genevieve Swift Eagle of Connell, Wash.; grandmother, Delilah Johnson of Connell, Wash.; sisters, Delilah Swift Eagle of Connell, Wash., Patricia Swift Eagle and Paris Swift Eagle both of Las Vegas, Nev., Jayden Swift Eagle of Rapid City, Pyrsais Swift Eagle of Tipton, Calif., and Lynae Elk Boy of Connell, Wash.; brothers, Cobra Swift Eagle of Rapid City; uncles, Robert Swift Eagle of Parshall, N.D., Reuben Swift Eagle of Kennewick, Wash., and Gregory Swift Eagle of Calif.; aunts, Deneen Swift Eagle of Connell, Wash., Joni Seven Star of Hammon, Okla., Roberta Johnson of Kennewick, Wash., and Denna Davison of Rapid City; and niece, Amaiya Silva of Connell, Wash.

Jennae was preceded in death by her grandfather, Reuben Swift Eagle.

A two night wake service started on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala. Traditional services were with Mr. Ivis Long Visitor. Burial service was at the St. Matthew’s Episcopal Cemetery in Slim Buttes.
