MANDERSON – Juanita Marie Jumping Eagle, 69 made her journey to the Spirit World on August 24, 2022 at her home near Manderson, SD. Juanita was born on June 25, 1953 in Pine Ridge, SD to Oliver Jumping Eagle and Marjorie (Little Crow) Jumping Eagle.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Jolene Jumping Eagle Martinez Rivas; son, James Shawn Jumping Eagle; siblings, Jean (Elmer) Brewer, and James Wayne Jumping Eagle; adopted sister, Betty Little Dog; nieces, Bernice (Quentin) Emery, Freeda Brewer, Marjorie Garcia, Sonya Guerrero and Sandra Garcia Canterbury; nephews, Oliver Armentrout, and Tyrell (Sandra) Brewer; grandchildren, Fenisha Romero, Shane Jumping Eagle, Skylar Martinez, Eathaniel Martinez, Shane Starr, Janis Emery, Stephanie Emery, Jonathan Emery, Kristina Stands, Donavan Stands, Joseph Stands, Kirraleigh Armentrout, Storm Armentrout, Malia Fallis, Stevi Fallis, Stephanie Brewer, Amari Brewer and Demetrie Ecoffey; great grandchildren, Cordelia, Clover, Amari, Ivana, Aiden, Jordan, Mathias, Kyrie, and Karson Pourier; and numerous friends & family.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver & Marjorie Jumping Eagle; daughter, Beth Jumping Eagle; sisters, Bernice Garcia, and Tina Jumping Eagle, nieces, Stephanie Brewer and Arlana Stands; and nephews, Nathan Brewer, Michael Brewer, and Efren Dominguez.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
Memorial Services: Private family services will be held at a later date
Burial Services: Holy Cemetery, Manderson, SD
Arrangements entrusted with Sioux Funeral of Pine Ridge.
