KYLE – L’Tanya Dawn Marie Starr made her journey to the Spirit World on August 27, 2022 at the Fort Meade VA Hospital in Fort Meade, SD. L’Tanya was born on October 16, 1972 in Pine Ridge, SD to Thomas E. Harvey and Sally (Henry) O’Rourke.
L’Tanya is survived by her father, Thomas Harvey; mother, Sally (Henry) O’Rourke; daughter, Tyler Star Comes Out; sons, Shon Star Comes Out and Aren Star Comes Out; granddaughter, Annaleagh Star Comes Out; grandsons, Kai Star Comes Out and Keanu Walters; siblings, Sunny Lynn O’Rourke, Georgia O’Rourke, Robert O’Rourke, Samuel O’Rourke, Lynette O’Rourke, Lynell O’Rourke, Sara O’Rourke, Nesha Harvey, Sarah Harvey, Rayanne Harvey, Tanya Harvey, Larissa Harvey-Early, Jake Harvey, Justin Harvey, and Thomas Harvey, Jr.; aunts, Rose “Dusty” Shangreaux and Charlotte Black Elk; uncle, Michael C. Adams; special cousin, Tokala Black Elk; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
L’Tanya was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lorenzo Turk Broken Rope and Naomi Two Lance-Broken Rope; paternal grandparents, Edward Harvey and Irene (Hollow Horn) Harvey, Henry, Sr. & Alice O’Rourke; hunka grandfather, Henry Black Elk; brother, Henry O’Rourke III; aunts, Emmaline Black Elk, Angie Adams-Loud Hawk, and Elizabeth “Betty” Jane Broken Rope; uncles, Sylvester Bird Head, Lawrence Harvey, Donald “Sam” Loud Hawk, and Donovan Shangreaux; cousins, DJ One Feather, Denise Gibbons, and Margaret Shangreaux; nephews, Cody & Cole Two Bulls, and Taysen O’Rourke; and nieces, Baby Anna Maria Adams, and Brianna Rae and Breonna Jody Brings Him Back.
