Mother’s Day Care and Share at The Mammoth Site

HOT SPRINGS – Enjoy Mother’s Day at The Mammoth Site. Visitors can visit The Mammoth Site for Free, Sunday May 13, 2018 by bringing three non-perishable food items per person. The items that are brought to the Site will be donated to the Hot Springs Food Pantry for KOTA Care and Share Food Drive.

The economic conditions have put a strain on families who use the Hot Springs Food Pantry and we have set our goal for 2,000 pounds this year.  Additional cash donations can also be made on Mother’s Day.  The Mammoth Site will also donate $1.00 per regular paid admission on Mother’s Day.

The Mammoth Site is open 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with the last tour leaving at 4:00 p.m.  The Mammoth Site summer hours will begin on May 15, at 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the last tour leaving at 7:00 p.m.

The Mammoth Site is a 501(c) (3) Non-Profit Organization and the only Accredited Museum in the Black Hills. The Mammoth Site is also only one of three museums that is Accredited in South Dakota.
