Murphy jumped in the construction field at an early age, becoming an exceptional carpenter. Murphy loved carpentry, saying, “It’s an honest profession; it never lied.” He would remain a carpenter the rest of his life until his illness, which prohibited him from working. Through it all he remained strong, true, honest and loyal.
He loved being outdoors, what he did outdoors remains a mystery. Vicky and Murphy both loved to be outdoors. What Murphy didn’t have he made up in heart, he was a fighter his whole life until the end. He took on any challenge never backing down. The only time was his last challenge; he battled and fought this last challenge as he did every challenge. He was one of the strongest persons we have all ever met; especially to the ones that knew him. He is with his family and loved ones now, a place where we all want to be someday; if he can do this we all can do this. Murphy was able to find peace, to forgive, to ask for forgiveness, and to forgive himself. He will be remembered and missed by all!
