PARSHALL, N.D. – Myron L. Sitting Crow, 44, made his journey to the Spirit World on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Parshall, N.D.
Myron Lee Sitting Crow was born December 11, 1973 to Victor L. Sitting Crow and Katherine M. St. John. He attended the Pierre School District through to his 8th grade where he met Cicely Twiggs- Picotte, with this relationship came Cheyenne Sitting Crow and Lakota Sitting Crow. He later moved back to Fort Thompson where he married and later divorced Georgette Felicia along with this union came Kendra Sitting Crow and Laslie Sitting Crow.
After some years of residing in Fort Thompson, he met Kristin Middletent from Lower Brule where they then had Adrianna Sitting Crow- Saxton, Erin Sitting Crow- Saxton, Layla Sitting Crow-Saxton, and Lucas Sitting Crow-Saxton. In 2006 he moved to New Town, N.D. where he met his companion Andrea Rogers.
Through his years of working his skills and interests came about while working for Crow Creek Housing, Crow Creek Water
Treatment, and Crow Creek Headstart.
While residing in Fort Thompson he enjoyed Good ol’ Country Music, fishing with his boys, Chefin’ up Barbecues out back of his father’s house with his family and friends, and playing horseshoes. He had love and passion for the cowboy way of life. When he moved to North Dakota he started working in the Oil Rigs. All to which he became well respected through his hardwork and dedication for the Patterson Oil Company, Rig #336. Throughout the years he and his companion started travelling and doing things off his bucket list.
He was loved and respected throughout the MHA Nation.
Myron is survived by his daughters Cheyenne (LD LaPlante), Lakota (William Hawk Jr.), Kendra(Darius), Laslie, Adrianna, Erin, and Layla; his only son Lucas; grandson Antoine Waln Jr, granddaughters Felicity Freeman and HartLee Hawk and Serenity Irving; and his siblings Clay (Dana) Crawford and Family, Vicki Crawford and Family, Marlon “Autha” (Lorie) Sitting Crow and Family, Loretta Sitting Crow and Family, Michael Hawk, Fae (Michael) Johnson-Hawk, and Jasmine (Sean) Hawk; all his nieces and nephews; and his companion Andrea Rogers of New Town, N.D.
Myron is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother Katherine Hawk, father Victor Sitting Crow, nephews Noah Velasquez and Darren Sitting Crow; and grandsons Louden & Louis Hawk.
Funeral services for Myron were held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Crow Creek Tribal Hall in Fort Thompson. Burial was at the Christ Episcopal Cemetery in Fort Thompson.
