Norma Lou White Horse




 

 

RAPID CITY — Norma Lou White Horse, 58, made her journey to the Spirit World on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City.

Norma Lou White Horse was born on April 8, 1959 in Kadoka to Guy White Horse, Sr. and Ollie Hawk Wing.

Norma is survived by her sons, Michael Fast Horse of Rapid City and Frankie Lee White Horse- Drowns; daughter, Francine Martinez of Rapid City; brothers, Ron Fisherman of Rapid City, Guy “Randy” White Horse, Jr. of Minnesota, and Marlin Hawk Wing of Pine Ridge; sisters, Alice Hawk Wing of Pine Ridge and Sandra Bush of Long Valley; and grandchildren, Yolanda and Joseph Standing Soldier, Nicholas Du- Bray, Sada Martinez, Jonathan Bordeaux, Angelina Bordeaux, Marjorie Bordeaux, Cameron Fast Horse, and Dovelyn Richard.

A two night wake service started Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Wakpamni CAP Office in Pine Ridge, with the second night on Monday, October 16, 2017 at the He Sapa Church in Rapid City. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the He Sapa Church in Rapid City, with Pastor Larry Salway & Rev. Rhoda Mesteth officiating. Burial service was at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Rapid City.
